In The Beginning
"New bank optimistic of good times" – The headlines read in 1982. The new bank was Redding Bank of Commerce. Redding Bank of Commerce was started by 13 local business professionals who also made up the original board. They had a vision for a financial institution that catered to the business and professional customer base in Redding. Redding Bank of Commerce opened their doors with the support of 353 stockholders.
In 1998 – The Vision continued. With our reputation for superior commercial banking we expanded our banking blueprint with the opening of Roseville Bank of Commerce to service the Sacramento Metro area. The Roseville leadership team has brought a depth of experience and knowledge to the Sacramento area businesses and its professionals. In 2014 Roseville Bank of Commerce was renamed Sacramento Bank of Commerce, a division of Redding Bank of Commerce. As the Sacramento Metropolitan Area has grown, and the Roseville Division has expanded to include customers throughout the Sacramento Marketplace, it is a natural progression to change the name of the division to reflect this larger market.

2004: The shareholders of the Company voted to change our name from Redding Bancorp to Bank of Commerce Holdings.
